Senior Trip
Ryan and four friends took off for California on their senior trip today. They were totally excited to get out on their own. They are driving to St. George (maybe Las Vegas) today, spending the night, and heading to Newport beach in the morning.
One of the kids mom is letting them take her brand new, doesn’t even have license plates yet, 2011 Audi SUV. JEALOUS! BRAVE MOM!

2011 Graduation
My baby graduated from High School. This was so much harder than when Josh graduated, because it was exciting and new, and I still had another one coming down the chute, so to speak. The morning of his graduation it hit me, it was the first thing on my mind when my alarm clock went off. I was teary, emotional as I drove to work. At work I was crabby.
I can’t believe he’s graduating, my baby. It makes me want to hurry and have another one. I have been told NO to that.
One of Ryan’s friend’s mom made these cool wreaths for some of the kids.
After dinner we went to Melting Pot, Ryan’s favorite restaurant and pigged out. It was so good, we got there at 9:00 and didn’t finish until 11!
After dinner Ryan went to the all night party at the school.

Memorial Day Toys
For Memorial Day Costco had some cute camo dog toys, a three-pack for $6.50! OK maybe the fact that they are camo doesn’t have anything to do with Memorial Day but I’m saying that is does. What a bargain! Unfortunately, these won’t last for more than a week around here, I’m glad they were cheap!

Garden Plants coming along nicely
These are pumpkins that will go in the garden in a few weeks. They are growing in my Mom’s greenhouse which I still really wish I had for myself!
The little ones are jalapeño peppers. They still have a few weeks before I would dare put them into the ground. As I post this it is still cold and rainy, I’ve already lost my cucumbers and basil plants that were put in the ground too early.
